Key Learning Outcomes

I. Vision & Purpose in Decision-Making

Be Purposeful

Top management doesn’t get buy- in because not everyone understands what the strategy is and what execution looks like.

Leading organizational change when the organization doesn’t want to change.

Strategic Planning
A disciplined approach to connecting the present moment to long term goals, strategies & vision

The Four Org’s
Understanding how organizations are self-regulating systems that resist change & what to do

Leaders develop a common language to explain  & link strategy with execution.

Leaders learn to notice & expand the tools they use to change the organization.

I1. Improving Performance & Teamwork

Be Helpful

People keep doing what they’re doing, no matter what you say or do – not self-motivated.

They promise and don’t deliver; they intrude where they’re not wanted; they’re compliant and show low initiative.

Present Moment Leadership
Establish leadership goals, learn behavior change techniques, & become self-aware of traditional methods that break down trust.

Beliefs and Boundaries
Reframing and Exploratory dialogues – two ways to gain rapid insight into performance barriers.

Leaders learn to develop clarity and decisiveness, and to execute more firmly yet sensitively.

Learn to do it much closer to the moment an issue arises, for maximum impact.

1II. Communicating for Rapport

Be Understanding

Overcoming low morale and conflicts.

Inspiring people to climb heights and overcome obstacles

Motivating people who are stuck or unwilling to buy in.

Powerful Platform Presence™
Building a powerful speech or presentation that is both persuasive and from the heart

Communicating under Pressure™  Listening & responding to tough questions & disagreements openly and non-judgmentally

Leaders learn to connect with people through clear logic and emotional savvy.

Leaders learn how to keep tough conversations focused on the present moment issue, without getting drawn into unwanted ego-battles

1V. Building Commitment

Be Real

People are skeptical of the leadership team’s plans and direction.

People are cautious and risk averse due to past leadership mistakes, punitive consequences and broken or inconsistent promises.

W.I.N. Attitudes™
Attitude is a dilemma and a choice.  Learn to be intentional with eight pairs of “in the moment” attitudes that build trust long term.

What’s Important Now?
Leaders learn to notice the “task vs people” choices they make everyday and when to alter them.

Leaders learn to impact others by becoming more real, genuine and consistent.

Leaders learn to become much more self-aware and learn techniques to build trust & positive attitudes.
